Hello,
thanks for using health care magic.
Given your history, it will be necessary you meet a doctor
for a detail and thorough evaluation.
It could be a
septic arthritis which is more common to find
in diabetics. Septic arthritis presents with pains, swelling and
warmth at the affected joint and with loss of function.
It could also be due to an acute
osteoarthritis.
An x-ray will be good in order to see what is actually going
on in joint ( septic arthritis? osteoathritis? other causes?)
However, it could be possible for joint fluid to b aspirated
and send to the lab for analysis.
Mortrin can be taken along side your
hydrocodone but it
causes ulcers so should be taken with food.
Hope this helps you.
Best regards
Dr Achuo
