Hello
You are a patient of
PCOS ( Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome ) &
hypoglycemia .
As you are also having over weight , even after exercises ,weight is not reducing . The drug
metformin is important for PCOS but you can't take because it also decreases sugar level.
In such cases only option is birth control pills ,but before deciding anything read this carefully.
Cysts are often caused by
hormonal imbalance or hormonal changes. Using birth control pills can sometimes help regulate hormone levels so that the cysts can be taken care of .
If you will visit your gynae for PCOS ,she will likely want you to come back after you ahve been on the birth control pills to see if cyst is gone ( she will most probably prescribe pills for the treatment for PCOS).
At that time the doctor may suggest you stop using them medication , or , if indicated , you may need to continue it for a bit longer.
Once you stop the birth control pills , as long as there are no medical concerns, you shouldn't have problems with FUTURE conception.
Many women will use birth control pills for the purposes other than preventing
pregnancy .
So in my opinion take treatment for pcos .
Because over weight is the main characteristic feature of pcos in young child bearing age group female.
So don't run after weight reducing medicines , rather consult a gynaecologist and take his treatment.
Good luck.
