Hi ! I was diagnosed with staphyloccocus aureus in my throat. For first 2 years i was more and more often sick, symptom like cold, headaches, blocked nose, soar throat. For last year it got more serious ,as i have dizziness,i got tired very easy and a temperature around 37 everyday. Antibiotics didnt help and now i tried vaccine - Luivac which helped a bit but not entirely. What should i do,is there anything more i can try ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Satphiloccocus aureus is a bacterial infection in the throat. It needs to be treated with antibiotics. I suggest to use antibiotics such as Amoxicillin 500 mg three times a day for a week. I also suggest to gargle with salty water. After the antibiotics, you should repeat the throat swab test for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
