Suggest Treatment For Constipation In A Child

Hi, I would like to know whether i can give domperidone suppository 10 mg for my 3.5 year old daughter to make her pass motion.she has not passed motion for the pat 3 days.she was prescribed this medicine as a stand by on top her other medicines when she had been taken to hospital for high fever n regular vomitting i was told by the dr that its a stand by just in case the vomitting doesnt stop and that since its a case of gastric flu, once she stops vomitting and passes motion then temperature also wilkl come down. please advise thanks sumitha

It may be due to constipation.

For that I would suggest you to consult with pediatrician.

You may require ultrasound abdomen.

He may advise dulcolax suppositories as per evaluation.
