Suggest Remedy For Dime In Stomach After Swallowing It And Stomach Upset

My child swallowed a dime, and was taken to the emergency room last wednesday night 11/2/11 and they took x-rays of him and sure enough it is in his stomach, he still has not passed it, but has had regular dirty diapers! What do I need to do? He is 15 months old!

Hi...you can wait another 24 to 48 hours (if no vomiting and diarrhea) and if it is not passed, better to take another X-ray. if it is still in the stomach, it is advisable to remove it endoscopically, by a gastroenterologist.
