Suggest Remedy For Constant Runny Nose And Sneezing Due To Rhinitis

I have had rhinitis a very long time. Constant runny nose and sneezing multiple times a day every day for the past few years. No fever, no headaches except minor headaches due to the congestion build up which only happens once or twice a year. What could I do?

Hello
Please note down these things about allergic rhinitis:
Inflammation of the nasal membranes with major symptoms and sings :
-Nasal itching
-watery rhinorrhea
-nasal obstruction
-sneezing
-post nasal discharge
Others may be :
Headache ( as sometimes in your case)
impaired smell
morning cough
conjuctival symptoms , eye pruritus

As in most of patient these symptoms present.
Reason is clearly due to allergy , allergens may be ;
Pollen, mold, fine dusting powder, sudden change of temperature, dust , hay , fodder, smoking, pests ( cockroaches ).
If possible avoid these predisposing factors.
Measures:
Use allergen-impermeable covers for mattresses & pillows
wash sheets and blankets in hot water , every week.
vacuum-clean beds every week
clean furniture in the bedroom w/damp rags.
use airconditioning .
Don't allow animals in house.
When such patient visit my clinic I advise them to take montelukast + levoceterizine .
But if breathlessness present I advise my patient to take montelukast+ bambuterol tablet once or twice in day and this provide complete relief.
Whenever necessary take these tablets , and stop once relief . Recurs , take again .
Hot coffee and steam inhalation also provide relief in such cases. Good luck.
