Suggest Medicines For Acute Bronchitis And Rhinitis
I need to know an substitute for Actifed Tablet as I have been suffering from Acute Bronchitis and Rhinitis with Allergy in the Nose, which constantly causes Nose Block, Running Nose and Non Stop Sneezing. Actifed drug in India had been very effective till now for my immediate solution solving my problem to a great extent, but since the restriction imposed in our country as to its manufacture and sale I have not been getting proper Antihistamine drug which is equivalent, if not more than to Actifed presently in the market. I am a Male of 47 years old and have perfect Medical Health and my Blood Counts are most perfect in every sense. Need to know from you a subsitute equivalent to Actifed Drug in the market in India.

By your history and description, possibility of allergic rhinitis is more likely.
Best treatment for allergic rhinitis is intranasal spray containing steroid (fluticasone).
Oral combination of antihistamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast) once a day at night is also beneficial.
Along with these medications, you should also doctor steam inhalation and warm water gargles 5-6 times a day
