Suggest Management For Stomach And Esophagus Spasms

My father is in stage 4 lung, bone, liver cancer. He had a round of chemotherapy 2 weeks ago and has been experiencing spasms in his stomach and esophogus. He feels he can't swallow and feels like he can't breathe from the spasms. Please help. Thank you.

Hi
Your father is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.
Treatment at this stage consist of palliative chemotherapy along with basic supportive care to improve quality of life.
Pain in stomach and esophagus is very common after chemotherapy.
I would advise Dicyclomine tablets twice daily and syrup Mucaine suspension thrice daily which is an antacid containing Aluminium hydroxide for 3 days starting from day after chemotherapy.

Hi

Since your father is having spasms in stomach and esophagus i would advise him to take Dicyclomine tablets twice daily after food.
