Suggest A Safe Alternate For Zoloft

Hi, I have a son who has a been prescribed Zoloft for anxiety and just feeling a constant disatsifaction in life, he has achieved alot in his career and has had quite a bit of pressure on him at a young age, we visited him recently and my fear is that this medication is not quite right, I have been on them before, he seems very emotional and one eye looks off balance to me, he was very tired though, it s very hard to get much out of him, but he assured me that he is no better and no worse on them, and coping with his job well, should I be worried? He would like to get off them, he just can t until he can get time off work.

There are quite a lot of anti-depressants. Buproprion, remeron, or paxil are often helpful for anxiety mixed with depression.

But a lot of the judgement of whether an antidepressant is working would depend on how the patient feels while on them.
