Suffering From Heavy Bleeding With Abnormal Pain. USG Test Showed Bulky Uterus. What Is The Treatment?

hi.my mother s age 48 and she is suffering from heavy bleeding for 4 years.but few days ago this problem has been increased with abdominal pain .for this problem she is taken tab.normans 5 mg 2+2+2,tab.traxil 500mg 1+1+1 and tab.algin 1+1+1.she have done a ultrasound and heamoglobin.USG shows bulky uterus and thickend endometrium and her HB% 10.9.In this situation what can we do.please give your valuable opinion.

any bleeding per vagina after menopause(approx age 45) is considered abnormal. your mother's age is 48 and usg abdomen shows bulky uterus with thickened endometrium. i think you should go for endometrial curretage and a pap smear to exclude CA endometrium, CA cervix respectively.as these 2 occaisionally happened in post menopausal patient with per vaginal bleeding. Apart from this you may use above said medication for conservative managament.
