Suffering From Fibroids, Bulky Uterus, Bilateral Ovaries Appear Normal, No Free Fluid In Pelvis. What Does It Suggest?

THis is Priya from Ernakulam ,Im 30 years old and i have been have complications with fybroid
I had taken a scan recently (4.11.2013) and the report say
uterus- Bulky Uterus and measures 107x79x91 (400gms) . Endometerial echoes are homogenous. Endometrium measures 6.5mm. Cervix appears normal. Posterior wall large 96x95 mm intra mural/ subserous fibroid seen
Ovaries- Bilateral ovaries appearnormal in size and echotexture. Right ovary measures 43x 22 mm, Left ovary measures 41x 22 mm. There is no free fluid in the pelvis.
Impression: Bulky Uterus and Intra Mural/ Subserous fibroid.

The USG report of yours suggest a large fibroid in your uterus, which is just a benign lesion in uterine muscular wall, which may sometimes cause heavy bleeding, anaemia , and bulky feeling in abdomen.

The only treatment of it, is surgery and type of surgery depends on your marriage status and number of children and age.
