Suffering From Oppositional Defiance Disorder

Hi my 9 year old son has been on Risperdal for the last two years with a continuous increase in dosage to try and help him deal with his ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder). He has had constant weight gain, severe behaviour causing harm to himself, and those around him. We are in Canada and it is to my understanding that this drug should not be used in children any longer. I need to find out how I can get him taken off of this medication without causing him some more harm. Thanks

I think you can try to stop giving medicines, but replace it to sedative-Ashwagandha or other for 1-2 months. For further treatment you consult your doctor.
