Staph Infection, was On Clindamycin, developed Intermittent Eye Brow Twitching. Please Advice.

Hi, my name is Lisa. My daughter was treated with clindamycin a month ago. She is now developing eye brow twitching in both eyes about 2 weeks ago and it is intermittent. She had a staph infection on her skin for which she was treated with the clindamycin.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

The common side effects of clindamycin include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and some allergic reactions like urticaria. There are no instances of the drug causing twitching. Please get in touch with a neurologist and get a detailed examination done to rule out causes of this twitching.
Thanks.
