Smoked Joint. Pressure In Head, Hallucinations, Blank Memory. Treatment?
I have been having Immense head pressure and everything seems further away than it normally was. This all happened 2 weeks ago, after I smoked a joint.I closed my eyes and everything started to hallucinate. This all has left. So no more hallucinations, but everything does still seem far. I'm not sharp, the head pressure is still there and I feel like my memory is completely blank. It feels like everything I endured a day before is totally blurry
Hi and thanks for the query, It might necessary to know what kind of memory issues you got. Anterograde (difficulty to remember future events) or retrograde (difficulties to recall past events), for this determines further investigations and management. The head problems deserves keen attention, if it is accompanied by headaches or not. Signs of intracranial hypertension like visual problems and problems with concentration, nausea or vomiting are also important. A complete neurological review and assessment of the memory status with specific tests is important. I suggest you book an appointment with a neurologist. Thanks and kind regards. Bain LE, MD
