Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
Sir, first let me appreciate you for the care you are taking. You mentioned your sugar levels are well under control. In the present condition if i were your treating doctor, I would reduce the dose and see for 2-3 months with strict blood monitoring. Then depending on the sugar levels, I would continue that if sugar levels are under control or if sugar values bounce back, I would switch back to same medication where sugar levels are under control. You can discuss with your treating doctor and follow his guidance.
Hope this guides you. For any other query you can write to us. We will be happy to answer you. Wish you good health. Thank you. Dr Phanindra Dulipala. Diabetologist.
