Suffer From Thickened Endometrium And Ovarian Cyst. Anything To Be Concerned?
Hi,
I received my Ultrasound results in the mail and my doctor apt is tomorrow. I am sure I will hear what everything means tomorrow however wondering if you can help me tonight. I have a 21x19x18mm moderately complex left ovarian cyst. A small amount of fluid in the cud-de-sac and left adnexa. Prominent endometrial stripe thickness of 15mm. In the left anterior aspect of the lower uterine segment is 44x44x58mm. Are these things to be concern with?

Hello,
Here, you need to undergo endometrial & cervical tissue biopsy following D & C to rule out possible pathology. Next thing, left ovarian cyst is quite small and it can be treated medically in initial stage. You need to consult with gynecologist for proper management.In failed medical treatment, laparoscopic removal of cyst can be done. Low carbohydrate diet, moderate exercise regularly and supportive medication are the key element.
