Should I Be Worried About Baby's Weight Found After An Ultrasound?
I had my ultrsound today at 27 weeks 5 days. The baby is measuring a little small at 2 lbs 3 oz which was in the 15th percentile. I was also informed that the baby's long bones were measuring a little small. I was told not to worry yet. They would again measure the baby in two more weeks to see if she continues to fall behind. The blood flow through the placenta was good, amniotic fluid level was good, and my blood pressure was good. I do have a prior history of preeclampsia when I was 34 and I am now 37. Really....how worried should I be....because I am. Thank you!
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, after the birth of baby this would be matter of worry, from now nothing to worry, when there no major defect detected in USG then this is nothing to worry, once then baby born then it can be seen why the baby is under weight, and for other doubts too, till then just take this easy, every thing would be okay, good luck.
