Sharp Pain In Uterus, Nausea, Dizziness. Have Mirena IUD Inserted. Negative Pregnancy Tests. Should I Be Worried?

I have the Mirena IUD and have had it for nearly four years. Just recently I have been experiencing sharp pains in my uterus. I've also been nauseous and dizzy randomly. I've taken a pregnancy test and it came out negative, but I still would like to know if I should be concerned.

Hello madam, the half life of mirena is 5 years.....you may require a local examination by your gynaecologist to see if the mirena is in its position and if needed may also require an ultrasound, because intrauterine devices may rarely perforate giving such symptoms......i hope i was helpful to you. .....
