Severe Pain In Rib Cage, Pulled Muscle, Does Eating Eyelashes Cause This ?

ok well im having very bad pains where my ribs meet in my stomach it hurts very badly, im hoping its just a pulled muscle but for the last 2 years ive been eating my eyelashes & i hope that its not effecting me although ive been doing good with not eating them.

Thanks for writing in.
Eating hair can lead to a bezoar which can cause abdominal pain. But it would not cause such severe abdominal pain. It is quite likely that it’s a muscle spasm and you can use hot fomentation, diclofenac spray and an analgesic like tablet Motrin 1 tablet as and when required ( upto 4 tablets daily) with food.
Please see a physician so you can get help in addressing the issues which are making you eat hair.
