hello,
thank you for using health care magic,
your report suggests healthy baby with adequate weight.. no need to worry..
your baby at present is in horizontal position in womb, for normal vaginal delivery vertical position is necessary.. but dont worry you are in 34 week and by the time of you due date baby automatically will come in normal vertical position.. and if doesnt then go for elective cesarian section.. no harm in it..keep seeing you gynecologist ..
hope this helped you.. take care..

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

I have gone through the report in detail.
The final impression reads "A single live fetus of gestational age of 34 weeks 4 days in the transverse lie EDD 11.08.2013
Two loops of loose cord around fetal neck"

This means that the baby is having an approximate growth age of 34 weeks 4 days and health of baby is normal right now. The baby is still in horizontal position inside the uterus and may turn to vertical anytime. You might have to go for another scan as your delivery date approaches to ascertain the position of baby. If the head is not down and your labor pains start, the doctors will assess you once finally before deciding on caesarian section.

Coming to two loose cord loops around the neck, in most cases loose cord loops around the neck can be slipped over the head of baby during delivery. If the cord around neck gets tighter, then by using cord clamps, the cord can be safely cut during the delivery so that baby is not harmed in any way.

Hope this helps.
Best wishes.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.CM. Forum.
According to this report every thing is normal and fetus is healthy.
Two loops around neck is also normal .
In my opinion delivery will be normal ( depends upon pelvic diameters of mother).
Loops around neck is also a normal process.
Good luck for baby.
Dr. HET
