Recovered From PTB. Missing Periods And Spotting. Reason?

Hi Doctor
I m 24yrs old and just recovered from pulmonary tb and my last medication was completed in March this year. Prior to this condition, I have missed my periods. But since March till now.. it is worse, I only had spotting for few days and no more periods.
Pls advise what is the possibility.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello , Welcome to health care magic! From your history of having had only spotting during the last few periods and a previous pulmonary tuberculosis, it is possible that your general health condition might not be optimal. Anaemia can cause less bleeding, so can hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, severe stress, etc. If you are married, pregnancy has to be ruled out too. Please consult your general practitioner so that all the causes can be evaluated and appropriate treatment instituted. Take care. Get well soon!
