hello,

Yes, you need to take iron, calcium and protein supplement for better growth & development of the baby. These are require to meet body demands and for prevention of anemia & tetany in pregnancy.

Iron and calcium tab are to be continued throughout the pregnancy period from 5 months onwards to be hemodynamically stable during delivery and to combat blood loss at that time.

If you vomit those tab, you can take capsule or syrup as alternative. Please consult with your obstetrician regarding this. Do periodic check-up.

Good luck.

hello,
thank you for your question
you should take iron regularly.. during pregnancy your need for iron increases which is difficult to get full filled by your diet.. it will prevent anemia and baby will be healthy and of adequate weight. i can understand your problem of vommiting because of iron.. take tablet with meal or break fast.. you can take toast or biscuit it will decrease your nausea and vommiting
continue calcium, protien powder and progesterone tab as suggested by your consultant
hope this helped you.. take care..
