Pregnant, Have Urinary Infection, Given Antibiotics, Also Taking Rantac And Dominate For Gas. Having Many Antibiotics Will Affect Baby.
Hi doctor , I am Preetthi and i am in my 16th week of pregnancy(second one). I have urinary infection and have been given antibiotics. Also before doctor has prescribed rantac and doxinate for gastric problem. Now that i am having antibiotics is it necessary to take rantac and doxinate, if i avoid it is there any problem. Also by having many antibiotics will it not affect my baby.

Yo have to continue rantac and doxinate with antibiotic to prevent gastric disturbances.
Short course of antibiotic will not give that much side effect on your baby,so complete the course of antibiotic.
Drink more water and other liquids like lemon water,coconut water,fruit juices,soups,energy drink.
Take proper local care.avoid tight clothings.
Keep in touch with you doctor because he/she knows your condition better.
