What Causes Drowsiness, Less Energy And Fever After Taking Medication For Dilatation?

My mother, aged 68 years, was suffering from acute urinary tract infection for some time. she has undergone dilatation about 20 days back. doctor has prescribed urifast and roliflo for thirty days. After the dilatation and taking the above two medicines she is complaining about drowsiness, no energy, some times very low fever as well. I would thank you for advising is it because of the drug she is taking or there may be some other reason as well.

Hi,

Yes, definitely drowsiness and feeling of no energy may be due to Urifast. However, these are temporary side effects and do not require any treatment, as these will go by themselves with stoppage of drug.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
