Pregnant. Getting Discharge, Fetal Fibernectin Test Positive. Taking Procardia. What To Do?

Hi i am 29 weeks pregnant and i have a discharge that looks like ricotta cheese what could this be. Also I had a fetal fibernectin test done when i was 26 weeks and it came back positive. I was having contractions and the drs gave me procardia to take every 4 hours to stop the contractions what could this chuncky ricotta cheese like discharge be?

Hi Shelby
You are having 29 weeks pregnancy& fetal fibronectin test positive,
It means,there is risk of preterm delivery,so,take proper bed rest & medication,as, prescribed by your Doctor.
You are having ricotta cheese discharge,it may be candidiasis aggravating preterm contractions.
So,consult your Gynaecologist as soon as possible.
