Pregnancy Chances While On Metformin 500mg And Thyronorm?
Dear Doctor, I am 35yr old. I had my IUI on 3rd Nov 2011 and after taking HCG 5000 inj- for rupture and was asked to take tabs progynova 2mg & duphaston 10mg.I have been asked to take a preg test after a weeks time which is due tmrw.I also take metformin 500mg daily and thyronorm 75mcg. I would like to know the chances of getting pregnant at this stage?

It is important to have a good thyroid control to attain pregnancy.. For PCOS patients, metformin is added to ensure good ovulation.. With good ovulation and IUI the chance of pregnancy increases by 20%. Post ovulatory phase, duphaston give luteal phase support.. hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
