Poked Needle Into Hand. Blood Dripped. What Is The Bubble There Now?

I accidentally just got poked by a sewing needle after sticking my hand into a change jar. Blood squirted & when I looked at the top of my hand blood was dripping from my largest vein , felt like it went in deep & now there is a quarter sized bubble on my hand...should I be concerned? The area has been cleaned & bandaged.

Hello
You have punctured a vein resulting in bleeding under the skin also and ultimately causing a local swelling causing he formation of localized hematoma.
There is nothing to worry as this hematoma will get resolved slowly of it's own and the puncture in the vein also gets sealed up by the pressure bandage you have applied
Thanks
