Pinkish Spotting, No Proper Periods. Why? Not On Birth Control

My last menstrual period was last month, on the 29th to be exact. This was the first period after i stopped taking the pill. Last night i happened to pass a pink feshy tissue like thing, followed by light pink spotting that didnt last very long. I thought I was about to start my period but still nothing has happened. I'm worried. What could it have been?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
thanks for your query.
It could have been a missed miscarriage, wherein the pregnancy failed and the tissue got expelled.
It could be that you are suffering from polycystic ovaries, or endometrial hyperplasia, wherein the lining of the uterus gets thickened, and then gets shed off, resembling a fleshy tissue.
Please consult a gynecologist for an ultrasound.
take care.
