Pelvic Pain,bleeding After Sex,brown Black Discharge, Late Period.Took Doxycycline & Metronidazole For 2 Weeks.Done Ultrasound Test,normal Reports.Any Treatment?
Hi Doc,i am 32 years old,i have been experiencing bleeding after sex, brown black discharge and pelvic pains that causes discomfort most of the time for about two months now. And my period used to regular but came late this month. I went for ultrasound last month nothing was abnormal. I have never had pelvic examination. At first i thought it was infection and i took doxycycline and metronidazole for two weeks but no relief. What can it be?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. I would come up with these possibilities for this bleeding after sex, these includes. 1 Cervicitis , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a gynecologist as in early stage ultrasound din't reveal any thing. 2 Endometritis , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a gynecologist . In my opinion consult a gynecologist and get his opinion as physical examination is very important in this type of cases . Good luck. DR. het
