Pain In Tailbone When Standing Up, Coughing, Sneezing. Help

Hello, I wrote you here because i have a question regarding my brothers condition, he is having a pain on his tailbone for about a week now, it is not that severe but it hurt every time he will stand up and also whenever he is coughing and sneezing . I am wondering why. I read a lot of article with the same situation as he but nothing so far satisfies me. We are not from a rich family to tell you that is why we are very conscious about are health so much because we surely cannot afford hospitalization and lab test for example. Hope you could help me with this. I wanted to have a confident answer regarding my question so we can do some sort of remedy at home. thank you so much.

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to musculo-skeletal injury.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained with ice application, intake of anti inflammatory preparations like Ibuprofen, & application of analgesic+muscle relaxant gel.
Multivitamins & multimineral preparations also need to be added in his diet.

If symptoms still persist, kindly consult an Orthopedician for proper clinical examination.
Investigations like X ray & MRI of the lumbo sacral spine will be helpful in detecting any fracture, soft tissue injury or other pathological cause for the symptoms.

Wishing your brother a good health.
Take care.
