Pain In Right Knee Worsened While Moving And Climbing Stairs. Allegic To Ibuprofen. Would Spray Or Cream Help?
Hi, I have pain in right knee, mostly on the outside of the knee but can radiate round back of knee. Worse when moning after sitting for a while. Pain also walking up steps/stairs. Pain first thing in the morning coming downstairs. Any suggestions please. Am allergic to ibuprofen. Having said that would a cream/spray help?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post suggest that it might be due to musculo-skeletal pain. You can apply local pain killer spray like Diclofenac and take NSAIDs (other than Ibuprofen) with muscle relaxants. If symptoms still persist, visit your physician for proper clinical examination to rule out any pathology in the the knee joint like arthritis, etc. Investigations like X ray of right knee, complete blood count, estimation of blood pressure and blood sugar levels will be helpful. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
