Pain In Ankle,knee,finger,rheumatoid Arthritis Test ASO=200iu/ml,prescribed Amoxicillin. Recommendations?

I recently visited an NP for joint pain in my ankle, knee and finger. I am otherwise a very healthy,active 40 y/o female. I was tested for rheumatoid arthritis and my ASO = 200 iu/ml. Can this be an early indicaton of RA?
The NP wants to prescribe amoxicillin. I am doing research prior to starting abx tonight. Thanks for your insight.

I want to explain few details regarding rheumatoid and rheumatic arthritis.
Rheumatic arthritis is caused by bacterial infection and the ASO titers go up in this condition.
The ASO stands for antistreptolysin O which is antibody produced against bacteria called streptococcus.
This bacteria is easily killed by antibiotics like amoxicillin.
Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder common in women aged 30 to 40 years.
The cause of this condition is not known, however it affects small joints first and later involves larger joints.
Rheumatoid factor test is done for diagnosis.
