i have had the mirena for five years.. May 3rd my daughter turned five and im wondering how effective it is after the five years is up. I no longer have insurance so i have to pay cash to have it removed and another put in, but i dont have the money right now.i thought since it was still in that maybe it still worked but as im reading on the website i found out it wasnt..im in a monogamous relationship so we dont use protection so i was wondering what are the chances that i may get pregnant . my cycle had returned a few months ago but this month and last month i didnt see one. im confused..
