On And Off Headache, Dizziness, Pain In The Side Of The Body Due To Hard Fall On Floor. No Bruising. Advice

Hi there: On tues eve. I fell standing from the couch and hit the side of my head/body on the hardwood floor. It was a pretty hard hit, but, I did not black out. For the past three days I have had varying feelings of headache, dizziness and feeling sick. Yesterday felt much better, today much worse. I also have pain in my neck and shoulder and side of the face/eye area on the left hand side of my body where the impact was. No brusing, but tender. I do not have medical insurance, BUT do not want to be foolish and not get this checked out if I need to. Advise, thanks!

Hello,
Although post concussion syndrome is very common after head injury but since you started feeling bad after a sufficient recovery creates doubt and in such a situation,you must go to ER and get an MRI brain done to rule out any intracranial bleeding.
As far as pain on left side of body is concerned,it appears o be due to the impact of injury on left side.
You must go to ER as early as possible.
