Work with preschoolers and was punched right in the bottom of the chin by a strong 4yr old. I was stooped over a little helping him pick up toys. He punched me very hard kinda under the chin and my chin instantly went numb. My teeth also banged into my upper teeth really hard. Within a half hour my lip was numb and I had shooting pain into my temples, forehead and neck. It has been about 3 hrs since the incident and there is still a numb spot in my chin on Right side. The lip seems to have diminished some and mostly I have a headache and neck ache. Should I go in right away or see how it feels in the morning? I applied ice and took a 500mg ibuprofen.
