I have carpal tunnel syndrome along with arthritis in my wrist joints .I have been wearing braces at night for about 3 yrs now.For about 2-3 weeks now I have been having numbness in my hands and pain along the arms up to my shoulders.I am a side sleeper so it is worse when I try to sleep on my side.During the day the last few days I have been experiencing the numbness when I type, brush my teeth, wash my hair and sometimes even sitting still. I feel a tightness in my shoulders and in my elbow. I take pain meds for the arthritis but its getting to the point that the pain is worse in my joints now too and the meds are working. NOt sure whats going on.
