Need Advice On Emergency Contraceptive Pills. Any Side Effects?

hi,
i had unprotected se x yesterday,,actually it was not unprotected ,,,it's bcos the condom broken...and it happend for de very first time like tat...i didnt hav any contraceptive pill till now,,,always using condoms as precaution....now am really worried abt being pregnant,,,also which emergency contraceptive pill i should prefer and it will have any side effects...and hw and when ,,cud i ensure tat am not pregnant...wat abt bleeding,,my last periods may25th-may30,,,i had sex on the 10th day of my periods started,yesterday,,is it a safe period or not..

Hi,
You had sex on 10 th day of your period is not safe period.
As you had broken condom and sex in unsafe period, there might be having chance of pregnancy.
You can take emergency contraceptive tablet within 24-36 hours of having sex.
Consult your doctor regarding tablet and its dose.
