Missed Periods, Negative Pregnancy Test, Trying To Conceive, Had Got Periods Immediately After Mirena Removal. Reason For Missed Period?
I had my last period on August 21 and my iud merina removed on August 20 . Straight after removal I got my period. But this month 2 days past I haven t got my period yet, my family doctor took pregnancy test on last Friday came negative , I don t know why my period is not coming , I am getting period cramp from last Friday , I am bit worried because as we were trying for the baby , can u please tell me why I am not having my period ? We did try this month but no luck,

Missed periods can occur as a result of emotional or physical stress, excess physical activity, poor diet, elevated levels of a hormone called prolactin which is released in the brain, abnormal levels of thyroid hormone, Polycystic ovarian syndrome which is a condition characterised by irregular periods, infertility, abnormal hair growth, acne and insulin resistance.
If your period takes a long time to return , you can consider visiting your doctor who will determine the cause of the delay.
