General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are many medical conditions that can cause smell stools. It usually occurs due to the bacteria present in their colon. I would recommend to take daily probiotics and drink a lot of liquids.

If the symptoms continue I suggest doing a stool test for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
