Mirena Removed, Heavy Bleeding Since Then, Thin And Ball Shaped Tissue Discharge. Is This Normal?

I had my mirena removed tuesday, june 5th, and have had bleeding ever since. Wens it got brown and it thought it was done, but it returned later t that evening with fresh blood and getting heavier daily. Just now, friday after removal, I found white thin tissue and a ball shaped piece of tissue with some blood clots. What is this and is it normal?? Thank you.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
After the removal of irena it is normal to have an erratic bleeding for a few days to weeks. This is usually self limiting and stops without treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
