Menstruation Day Reduced, Less Bleeding, Nodular Goiter

Hi, normally my period lasts for 5 to 6 days. but the last time I have my period, it only lasted for 3 days but on the 3rd day, there s almost no blood at all. what could possibly be the reason behind this? The last time I went to the lab, i was diagnosed with nodular goiter . do you think it s one the reasons why my period is strange?

Hello mam, duration of periods may vary with the advancement of age. Also hyperthyroid state is associated with lesser flow during periods. I would suggest you to get your thyroid profile, thyroid scan and TPO Antibody titre checked and then visit an endocrinologist thereafter. All the best.
