Light Headed, Red Blood In Stool. Family History Of Diabetes, Colon Cancer. Cure For Symptoms?

hi i was just curious who i should go see because for the past 4 days now i have felt light headed shaky inside n there have been bright red blood in my stool . i have family history with about 80% of my family who have diabietes, colon cancer n other kinds of problems. i know i have ulcers and i had 2 get some kind of steroid shot 2 boost my blood cells a couple years ago cause my count was really low

Hi,

Cancers usually do not present as bright red blood - as the blood comes from far inside.
It is usually fissure/ crack or piles.
But it wise to look and rule out cancer due to the family history.
A surgical specialist would be the best person to consult.
