Late Period, Slight Spotting, Vomiting. What All This Indicate?

So my period is 8 days late now. I am staying with my dad for another few weeks to visit before going home to my fiancé in another state so I can t take a test until I m with him. I have been much sleepier than normal, I had very very slight spotting but it was only the tiniest dot on toilet paper. My cliterous has been sensitive and things have been quite muccusy down there. Also the other night I ate out at Thai and I ve had Thai food many times but threw up afterwards. And for a couple days Ive been obsessing over cherry ripes. What s your thoughts?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Some of the early signs of pregnancy are fatigue, nausea and vomiting , breast tenderness, dizziness and increased desire for certain foods.
It may be possible that you are pregnant especially with a history of delayed periods. The only way to conclusively determine this would be a home pregnancy test , these are usually accurate. You can use an early detection test which can pick lower levels of HCG in the urine.
The other causes for delayed periods would be physical or emotional stress, inadequate diet, hormonal imbalance such as low levels of thyroid hormone or increase in a hormone called prolactin, polycystic ovarian syndrome.

I hope this helps

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. Only the abscence of period or scanty period wont confirm the pregnancy. the other causes could be anaemia, tension, etc. The vomiting could be due to indigestion, and one vomiting wont confirm the pregnancy.
Now only things which can confirm the pregnancy are urine pregnancy test, blood human chorionic gonadotropin test, and trans veginal ultra sound scaning.
To be sure of having suffecient blood (no anaemia)in the body i suggest you some diet recommendations as take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts , fruits, juices, egg, meat, and sea foods which provide suffecient iron, proteins, vitamins necessory for build blood and general health.
I wish everything will be fine, and thanks for calling.
