Is Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Pain A Sign Of Miscarriage?
I had an HCG that confirmed I'm pregnant followed by an atra sound that only showed a bulky uterus and nothing in it. A week before taking these tests I had drops of blood coming from my vigina, some pain that more like period pains. Does this mean I had a miscarriage
Hi, To know if you have suffered from a miscarriage, you need to repeat the blood test for pregnancy at serial intervals. If the pregnancy is viable, you will see doubling titres every 2-3 days; else, the titres fall down steadily. A repeat sonogram after another week also will help you to get a clarification on this issue. If you have had a delayed period, this bleeding could be an implantation bleed; else, it needs to be observed. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
