Is Thyroxine Intake Safe For An Alcoholic?

Hi, my mum is an alcoholic and is taking thyroxine. Could this affect her personailty because she acts like a different person, sometimes when sober the next day. Her doctor has increased the milligrams of thyroxine in her tablets but cant any more because its at its highest level. could the alcohol wash away the thyroxine?

Yes, can laziness increased or in starting other way around. Needs psychological counseling! Yes, in laymen's language Thyroxine is more needed in alcoholic persons, it damages thyroid gland!
