Is There Any Side Effects Of Nexito Forte?
hi,i was prescribed nexito forte because of my insomnia ,but now i can t seem to sleep without taking one.i ve been taiking the medicine for the past 4month now.are their any side effects?.secondly,i ve had allergy for quite awhile now because of which i m unable to think and sleep well.i ve seen several doctors and taken several medicines but once the course are over it comes back.please suggest some tips .

The active ingredient of nexito forte is Escitalopram.
Escitalopram is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Escitalopram affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression or anxiety. Escitalopram may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Do not stop using escitalopram suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.
Cold or allergy medicine, sedatives, narcotic pain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, and medicine for seizures or anxiety can add to sleepiness caused by escitalopram. You may need to have your dosage increased. Nexito forte may be addictive and you may develop a tolerance to the drug.
You should probably see an allergist to determine the correct course of action. In the meantime, try saline nasal solution to help clear the sinuses. You will continue to have difficulties until the allergy has been controlled.
