Hi and welcome,

This is a common myth that couples with same blood group have problems. On the contrary they do not have any problems due to blood groups.

Problems come when the mother is having a Rh negative group like A -ve, B -ve, O-ve and so on and the father is a positive like A +ve or B+ve and so on. In this case the babies may have severe jaundice if the baby is Rh +ve like the father.

When both the parents have same group, or the mother has Rh +ve group, this problem does not arise and baby is safe.

Hope this satisfies your query.
