Hi,

Noted your history about your year old daughter having sensorineural deafness as diagnosed by your Doctor for the inability to speak, advised hearing aid.
Since the child can not hear, she can not reproduced the words as there is no learning.
Hence first of all try the hearing aid immediately so that the child starts hearing, learning and thus speaking. This needs a lots of effort that a Mother always take for sure.
The earlier the best.
There are some cases wherein a new procedure called cochlear implant works well, so get the help of the special centers working in cochlear implants for evaluation and surgery if needed.
Even after this procedure the learning curve has to be supported by a speech therapist and family members.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
