Is Normal Pregnancy Possible After Bilateral Ectopic Pregnancy?

I had a bilateral ectopic pregnancy 6 months ago. Both the fetuses were removed through laparascopy and my tubes were saved. Now my doctor says I should try conceiving again. But after what happened last time, and knowing that I might have a repeat, I am scared. I am 30. Should I take the chance?

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) It is difficult to conceive but not impossible.

2) Considering your age and history it is better to go for IVF as soon as possible.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
