I had classic symptoms of BPPV back in June. I went to an ENT and he had the audiologist do the Dix Halpike test on me. I did not experience vertigo though. The doctor told the audiologist to go ahead and do the Epley procedure on me. It worked. I was fine for a few months. Then the vertigo came back. However, the amount of positions it occured in decreased, so I lived with it for about a month. I then decided to call the doctor back. The audiologist did the Dix Halpike test on me, and again, no vertigo. She then did the Epley on me and it worked again. The problem is that I actually feel worse now. I feel very off , like my equilibrium is messed up. The audiologist said she doesn t think I have BPPV since I didn t respond to the Dix Halpike. Is it possible to have BPPV but not experience vertigo at the expected times during the test????
